Yesterday it was 5C now -10C tomorrow morning -28C (with wind) and more then 1M of snow 1hr north of me. It is a big storm but I hope I only get a few cm of snow. I have stacked extra fire wood inside...if I don't loose electric power I will be warm:)

Or maybe NOT...-6C this morning and more snow:(

This is what I saw heading out to work...

Oh no... I am truly sorry, Mike. This darn winter just doesn't want to give up there??

Here we had a beautiful sunshine yesterday with no wind at all and about 18C. I went out with a friend of mine to the archery, we had a wonderful day. I played a lot with a local farmer's dog, a very friendly doggy. She used to come to the archery to say hi to everyone. She finds out all the new characters and greets everyone with running circles around and an awesome tail wagging dog dance... Aw it was so fun! :D

I should have taken some pics.

By the way, do you know why the meteorologists have the ideal occupation in the world? Because they're well paid and can be wrong every single day but never get fired for it!

Have a better day, mate. Looking forward to meet at spawn soon!

Well 2015 winter is here. Tomorrow the high temp is -12C and the overnight will be around -20C...at least there is very little snow:)

Oh dear, that's another tough winter, mate.

I just checked we've got 3C (37F) outside but it's raining. Too bad as I was going to do some shopping and see the surgery today. I would have to walk 5 miles but apparently it's going to be postponed.

But hey at least I can do some homework and practice a new found useful training exercise, Tai Chi, as it is 20C in here ;)

I hope it will get better soon. By the way was the Christmas white over there?

No white Christmas:( We had a couple inches of snow but it warmed up 3 days before Christmas and rained.

I just checked and it was -16C outside AND very windy (up to 45km per hr wind) making the wind chill as cold as -30C. Many schools will start 2 hours late tomorrow because the wind will die down early tomorrow morning. News is telling us to stay inside tonight AND if you must go outside do not have exposed skin.

That sounds serious, Mike. Well if you do stay inside tonight perhaps you might want to blame it on some tangos and I'll glad to be your lawyer... ;-)

Winter has arrived in the UK. :)

Took off the next 3 days to drive to Long Island to visit the grandkids....however they got 45-50cm of snow last night. NYC got up to 25cm of snow. BIG storms the last 2 times we planed this trip:( We may need to go 1 day later like we did last time. East Long Island got almost 1m of snow...crazy for that area. Cold this weekend so the snow will not melt much until Monday.
